Who is Andreas Christensen?

Andreas Christensen is a Danish footballer who currently plays as a defender for Barcelona in Spain and the Denmark national team. He began his professional career with Denmark's Brøndby IF in 2011, before joining Chelsea FC in England a year later. After spending time on loan at Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach for two seasons, Christensen made his first-team debut with Chelsea in 2016. He went on to establish himself as a regular starter for the club, and was an important part of their Premier League title-winning campaign in 2017.

Christensen has earned over 50 caps for Denmark, representing his country at major tournaments.

He is currently plying his trade at Barcelona after leaving Chelsea on a free transfer this summer. However so far he has only made 3 appearances for the Blaugrana.
